Lanterns or roses?

I made cupcakes for my best friend Kirsty's birthday, and was quite impressed with how they looked in this photo. Afterwards I realised they reminded me of the beautiful floating lanterns in Tangled...*love love love love love*



Others said they looked like a rose...


Kirsty just thought they looked delicious...


She was right.

Productive?

This last week I've got two complete pictures done for Alicia AND a 3 page illustrated card...thing...for my friend's birthday. I might put that up later but for now, here's a little moon girl for Alicia's newest arrival - Dominik.



I wasn't sure if it was too simple, but the opinion of the four people I asked all said that it was good just like this :) Let me know if you think differently....

I like the lilac line work...there's just something super pretty about it I think

For Imogen...

I completed the last picture Alicia commissioned for her eldest daughter, Imogen. Another princess hooray! I was so tempted to give her red hair to match that green dress, but she looked a bit too Ariel....or a bit too me haha.
